Cozy and comfortable place in historic center of Paris
Vladimir T.  (États-Unis)  - 23 juillet 2016

We (a family of two) lived in this small, but cozy, comfortable and reasonably priced apartment in the historic center of Paris for 10 days, and we really enjoyed our stay there. In our opinion, this place provides an optimal combination of such criteria as location (which includes both a short walking distance to the major tourist attractions/museums and safety of the neighborhood), amenities (well-equipped kitchenette, free Wi-Fi, phone, cable TV, a bathroom with Japanese toilet and full-size shower, and a laundry room with washer and dryer on the premises), as well as the cost. We certainly recommend this rental property to everyone, who wishes to spend a pleasant vacation in Paris on a budget.

More comments for the interested ones: The apartment is situated on a high 1st floor of a renovated 17th-century building. The entrance to the building from the street is secured with the code lock. The owner’s company representatives are nice and courteous. Samia, who accompanied us to the apartment, showed us the amenities and explained in detail how the things work. Later on, when we had questions (for example, how to use particular appliances), we e-mailed Samia, and she responded promptly.

The apartment space is small (not surprising for a historic downtown of Paris), but it worked just fine for 2 of us. The owner remodeled it in a modern style meticulously, to fit in all the necessities. The bathroom/shower is situated quite close to the bed, but that never bothered us. It is separated from the bedroom with a glass wall (the intimate places covered with frosted glass and roll-down curtain). The Japanese toilet is a nice perk. Unfortunately, we were unable to experience all of its features, because the remote control battery seemed to die. However, we did like the toilet lit in dark, and warming the seat is pampering – especially during the cold season. Although the apartment has no windows looking at the street, the room is light due to the skylights. A small private patio that is open to the inner yard is a nice addition, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening – if the weather permits.

Other important things to consider: There are two metro stations within 5 min walk, Louvre Rivoli and Les Halles. A boulangerie with fresh baguettes, quiches and delicious pastries sold starting at 7:20 am, a butcher’s and grocery stores and several cafés/bistros are across the street or around the corner. Enjoy your time in Paris!

This place was great! Very small but I expected that. Three people could squeeze in but it's really suited for 2 in my opinion. Great location! So close to everything. The decor and renovation are top notch. The breakfast 'patio' is really outside...hard to tell from the pictures but it is open to the outside air. It was nice to sit out there and listen to life while having a bite to eat. Bathroom is well done and bed/bedding SO comfortable. You can use the landline phone to call the US for free! This was great as I did not always have a cell signal. Paul met me at the apartment and showed/explained everything. He is awesome! Really terrific man.The only issue I had was getting someone on the phone when I landed and was on the way. Kept getting voicemail for everyone but by the time I was in Paris I was able to speak with Paul. Everyone I dealt with from Glamaparis from booking to arrival were professional and helpful. Apartment has a really good lock on the door-I felt very safe. I also felt safe on the street. I was glad I picked this apartment for my stay in Paris.

Great Apartment in Safe Neighborhood
flip08  (États-Unis)  - 19 juin 2016

The location is great walking distance to restaurants and retail. Has grocery store around the corner and a type of convenient store a few doors down. The apartment is perfect for 2 people even though it will sleep 3. The GlamaParis team was excellent throughout the process but especially Paul who was very helpful and courteous. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Paris.

We enjoyed our week in this little apartment. Although it is very cozy, it has everything you need for a nice stay in Paris. Every thing is first rate. Most importantly the bed is comfortable and the shower is great. There are plenty of restaurants close by, a great fruit market and the best baguette in Paris (according to some vote of the people). Paul was very attentive to our requests. We would recommend this apartment.

Lovely Anniversary Stay
jvcs  (États-Unis)  - 28 mai 2016

To mark our 50th anniversary, my husband and I decided to spend three weeks in Paris, and we wanted to be comfortable. We could not have made a better choice!

This apartment and the people at Glamaparis were wonderful. Damien, the owner, sent a bottle of champagne to make up for a small problem on arrival at the airport, and he came personally to reset the security level for the wifi when we were unable to get our computer to work with it (it worked perfectly with our smartphones).

After that, we simply enjoyed the apartment. Since it is completely equipped, we made breakfast there every morning before enjoying the convenient neighborhood, walking to the Louvre (only a couple of blocks), to the Cathedral of Notre Dame, and various other attractions. We rode the metro, the train to Versailles, the tourist hop-on bus, an Uber car to the American Cathedral for church on Sunday and another to the airport when we left to come home.

Although the apartment is tiny, my husband (who is 6'7") and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We could not have been happier with the accommodations, and we highly recommend it to others.

The location of this apartment can't be beat. It was so easy to get everywhere and there are lovely places to eat and/or buy food near by. The flat was very clean and exactly as pictured. There was some confusion about how to get to the flat when we arrived, which was not great, but did get straighten out. The flat is very small and you need to make sure you really like the people with whom you are sharing the space! There is minimal privacy as the bed is 6 inches from the bathroom. Make sure you are prepared to bring or buy shower soap. There were three small tubes of shower gel that we ended up using as hand soap and bought soap for the shower.

Cosy, clean and modern
Mabel L.  (États-Unis)  - 19 avril 2016

I stayed in the property for 6 nights. It's clean, cosy and I particularly like the loft bed just fit for my little daughter. The apartment gave me all the facilities I need including a washer/dryer and full kitchen utensils. Love the Japanese toilets too. Also, it will be good to have some extra pillows.

The property is located at an extremely convenient location, walking distance to a major Metro/RER interchange (Chatelet Les Halles) in 1st arrondissement. Also walking distance to Louvre Museum & Notre Dame.

One thing to note, you need to lug your luggage over 20+ steps as it's a walk-up apartment on the 1st floor. Overall, I'm happy that I chose this place.

Visited Paris as a graduation gift; apartment is located in a quiet and reserved location. Manager personally met with my friend and I upon arrival and carried my bag; guide to the apartment was very useful. Metro station just down the block; perfect for walking to The Louvre and other attractions. Comfortably sleeps three, cozy and clean. In love with the shower and toilet. Was unable to use the patio due to the rain; however, it's nice for a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The kitchenette is useful for small meals; nothing too large. Great restaurant across the street. You're welcome for the leftover sugar cubes in the cabinet. The washer and dryer was convenient. Nothing was out of place and I felt as if I belonged and not a tourist. Everything in the photos are true. I would definitely recommend renting with GlamParis. Enjoy Paris, I did!

Perfect stay also for a business trip
Or Tanja  (Allemagne)  - 11 janvier 2016

I stayed 2 weeks in January in this very stylish apartment. Although the temperatures were very low during this time the apartment was cozy and warm. What mattered to me most and this apartment fulfilled perfectly was that it is very quiet during night time (for a good rest), the internet is fast, I can wash and dry my clothes (since I was staying 2 weeks) as well as I can prepare an easy meal. There are also 2 supermarkets just around the corner and a delicious bakery down the street as well as a big mall to go shopping during the week-end. Very nice detail was that there was coffee, shampoo, soap and detergent immediately available to just get settled in.
Thanks a lot to the team for having arranged it all so nicely. I will definitely recommend this apartment!

“Brilliant little apartment with an excellent location”
Emily M  (Royaume-Uni)  - 1 novembre 2015

We stayed in the apartment rather than booking a hotel for the week. We found the management team very friendly and welcoming and were very organised with us on arrival. All the details of the apartment were shown to us (including washing machine etc in a different room) and were also given a booklet to refer to throughout the week. The apartment is location on the upper end of a busy street, which is ideal as it was quiet when sleeping but a 5 minute walk would take you right to bars and restaurants. It is also next to a very big metro station which we found very useful for getting around Paris. I do not doubt that had we had any troubles, the management team would have done everything they could to help. A really great trip, thanks.

I have stayed in this apartment twice December 2014 and October of this year. The apartment is centrally located it's an easy walk to the Louvre to the metro and other Paris attractions. There is easy access from Charles de Gaulle airport by way of the RER for only about 11 Euros. I was a promptly met with keys to the apartment upon my arrival. The apartment is clean and very modern. I would have liked a window on the street but the patio allows plenty of fresh air and you can leave the door open safely. The Internet was fast and free calls to the United States were clear and fast. The photos show exactly what the apartment looks like. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would return again.

Parisian Perfection
SoPriceless  (États-Unis)  - 1 septembre 2015

This little apartment was perfect in every way. After researching and reading reviews on hotels and other rental properties - I chose this property and I'm so glad I did. We could tell that someone took time to design a space that was both stylish and functional. It's in a great location - just a block over from a "main" street which is great because you don't hear cars and scooters zipping by at all hours of the day and night. It's also within a 1-2 minute walk to a shopping mall, restaurants, bakeries and a grocery store. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing. Samia, Paul and Damien were great to work with and were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Before arrival, I received a reminder email requesting my flight information, etc. Upon arrival, I was met me at the apartment and got a quick tutorial over how everything worked and where everything was located. Because I waited too long to book my Eiffel Tower tour, they referred me to a tour company which was pretty amazing - it was an actual guided tour that provided history of the tower and the city. I really can't say enough about how great everyone was and can't wait to go back. I'd choose this location all over again - I wish I could have stayed a little longer.

Joyce R  (États-Unis)  - 1 septembre 2015

The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. The spa like bathroom was fantastic with the rainfall shower head and Japanese toilet! The location was great. When you come out the front door, it is less than a block to a deli, fruit stand, bakeries, pharmacy and the grocery store is right around the corner. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the metro and the louve. I would definitely stay again in the same apartment. On our first night, we accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment around 10 pm at night. We did not have a phone or money on us and when we finally located the phone number for Damien, he kept in contact with us until he located a lock smith to come to get us back in the apartment. The customer service provided is outstanding from inquiry to checking in to check out, I could not be any happier with the service provided.

Small, beautiful apartment in central location
Elizabeth S.  (États-Unis)  - 24 août 2015

We stayed at this small apartment in the first arrondisement in late August. The photos are a very accurate depiction of the apartment. We took the RER from the airport into the Les Halles station. It is a short walk, maybe 5 minutes, from there to the apartment. The apartment is in a secure building and there are only a few stairs up to it. The hallway and steps are narrow. There is a light switch in the hall and on the landing to turn on the lights which are on a timer.

Paul met us at the apartment when we arrived. He showed us all of the amenities. They provide a binder with laminated instructions which help you understand how to run the laundry, the bidet, TV and appliances. There is a grocery store a block away and many boulangeries at which to grab pastries on Rue Saint Honore. We found the location to be ideal as it is close to many attractions and there are many restaurants nearby. It was also easy to get on the Metro or the RER trains. We spent a vast majority of our time out exploring Paris, but is was nice to come back to relax in the A/C. The wi-fi worked great and there is an international phone included.

Keep in mind this isn't a huge space, but definitely adequate for two people. Way nicer than many hotel rooms I've stayed in. The bathroom wall is glass, so if you are sleeping in the bed, the light/sound from the bathroom may disturb you. My friend wasn't bothered at all. I slept in the loft area and it was comfortable, but was a little warmer. A child would definitely love it.

Beautful apartment in a wonderful location!
George  (Canada)  - 12 juin 2015

We stayed in this apartment for 10 days in early June. Location is very important to enjoying the stay and having a feel for the city. This apartment in the 1st arrondissement is ideally located. Our flight arrived early and after a quick call to the office, Paul was at the apartment to greet us and introduce us to the area. He was knowledgeable, friendly and responded quickly to any requests, great service. We arrived several hours prior to our check in time but we had immediate access to the apartment with no problems. Thanks again Paul!

The immediate area has several excellent bakeries, bars and well-priced, excellent restaurants. As well it is easy walking distance to some of the most famous sites. The Louvre is just a 5-minute walk! It is situated half way between Les Halles metro station, (huge metro, train station and underground mall) where you can access several metro lines and three RER train lines, and the very quite Louvre-Rivoli metro station. We used both depending on where we were going in the city.

The apartment itself is small-however you are in downtown Paris. That aside, the bed is large and very comfortable and the bathroom-shower area is beautifully finished- all very high end. We have tried several beds in Europe; this was the best to date! The Japanese toilet is interesting (heated seat and several other features) and the toilet can be use as a conventional style toilet. All the finishes in the bathroom are high end and the shower is fantastic, great rain-head shower. The kitchen area has an island sitting area that is good for two people and the outside table was great for breakfast. All the amenities were there, microwave, cooktop, dishes etc., everything was new and first class. It was convenient to have an apartment located so we could stop back in the middle of the day, have a quiet, relaxing and refreshing break and step back out into the city.

The vaulted ceilings give the apartment give it a nice airy feeling and the laundry room located down a few steps was again high end and worked great. We never used the bed in the loft but it looks like a comfortable spot for a third person. I am always amazed how a small area can be organized into a beautiful, comfortable, luxury apartment. I would recommend this apartment and company to anyone who wants a first class experience at a very competitive price. Congratulations and thanks to Glamaparis for providing such beautiful accommodation in a great location. Already looking for

Valerie Z  (États-Unis)  - 1 juin 2015

Aside from the ideal location for a Paris-based vacation, this apartment has all the amenities you need. No question about it -- it's a tight fit. I think this is ideal for 2 people or parents with 1 child at most. The pictures are accurate and the amount of light in the apartment helps give the small space a very luxurious and spacious feel. The small fridge is a great place to store breakfast and snacks. You can cook if you are brave enough to resist the amazing restaurant choices around the neighborhood. The bathroom is the showcase and it does not disappoint. From the rain shower to the japanese toilet, you could spend all your time in the bathroom and be entertained, but again, you're in Paris, get out and enjoy it. You're less than a block away from a major central Metro station.
My son loved sleeping in the upstairs loft. Climbing the ladder was the highlight of his day and the fact that it was securely bolted made me feel comfortable with the setup. The beds were very comfortable and soft! There's space under the beds to stash away your suitcase and enough closet space to hold your clothes. We were there 2 weeks, but packed for a week because of the washer/dryer available for the apartment. The apartment was quiet and we were never bothered by outside noises.
The rental agency and the owner were all very professional and helpful. I had a technical issue that came up during my stay and the response was immediate and got me on my way.
If I HAD to come up with something to improve, I would recommend that the apartment have some hooks added to the bathroom to hang clothes.
Many weeks later, I'm still thinking of the perfection of this apartment. It will definitely be a place I hope to return to.

This english text is a Google translation ... Sorry for the quality ! The french text follows.

This apartment has responded to our expectations 100%. The photos correspond to reality: the apartment is small as mentioned, but ultra-functional, comfortable, bright, quiet, modern, stylized and with a luxurious bathroom and a really comfortable bed. The welcome was great, with suggestions of places to visit and good restaurants. It's located in a great place, surrounded by small shops for daily needs (groceries, bakery/pastry shop , caterer, restaurants, etc.). Perfect to live in Paris, among the Parisians ! Although it's located just steps from the Metro-RER station, it's possible to walk to get to the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. It takes about an hour, but there is so much to see on the way ! It's very easy and pleasant to walk in Paris. So we recommend this apartment without any hesitation. Bon voyage !

Cet appartement a répondu à 100 % à nos attentes. Bon voyage !

Antonio Blanco  (États-Unis)  - 21 avril 2015

We arrived via RER and found a very welcoming group of young people managing this property at their office. We were walked 1.5 blocks to the apartment and we were pleasently suprised.

Everything perfectly clean, VERY comfortable bed, amazing bathroom facilities.

The location of this apartment is unquestionably what makes it even that much better. Rue St. Honoree is a great street with restaurants and shops, the Louvre and Notre Dame are a couple of blocks away. Nearby in an underground shopping center is a FNAC store where one may aquire tickets for almost any activity in Paris.

I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone, and I would return in a hearbeat. It's not a large place, but the privacy and location more than make up for this.

The young people managing the property are very helpful and exceedingly friendly. Merci mes amis !

We loved this apartment!!! It's in a perfect location. There is a metro station right down the road, it's walking distance to a lot of the main attractions. I would definitely recommend staying in an apartment or house over a hotel room because it's fun to feel like your apart of Paris instead of just a tourist. The apartment is very clean and has a cool open to the outside porch area where you can eat. I wouldn't recommend it for more than 4 people. It only has one bedroom, but it does have a loft bed. It's perfect for kids, but four adults would be cramped. The people at GlamParis are so friendly and very nice people. We unfortunately locked ourselves out of the place when their office was closed, but called their cell number and they right away came to unlock it for us. They are truly nice people. So glad we got to stay in an amazing place for such a great trip!

The three most important things about real estate. This apartment is located about a block and a half from Châtelet - Les Halles making it very easy to use the RER for airport transfers. Because this is a large Metro station, it also allows for easy travel inside Paris. You are also within walking distance of Le Louvre and Notre Dame and several other important sightseeing spots. Located on the Rue Saint-Honoré, the street has two tasty bakeries and a fantastic fruit stand. The next parallel street is lined with shops. It is within walking distance to night life such as clubs, bars, and a great Jazz club. As a female traveling alone, I felt very safe walking home to the apartment even late in the evening.

The apartment itself was very comfortable. I only used the main large bed, so I can't review the bed in the mezzanine which would be perfect for a couple traveling with a child or a friends traveling together. The main bed is very comfortable. The glass in the living room added light to the apartment was a few panels were covered in a frosted finish to provide privacy from the other apartment units. Every thing in this apartment was modern, stylish, and functional. This is a great studio apartment that provides more features, value, and space than renting a hotel room.

The agency did a fabulous job working with me when my arriving flights were delayed due to weather. It helped make a stressful situation less stressful. They were professional and very good with communication. Check-out was a breeze.

My only warning is- do not come home at 20h- 20h30 hungry. The other apartments start making dinner at that time. It always smelled so fabulous, I wanted to start knocking on doors with a bottle of wine to see if I could make friends.

The Apartment is brand new well designed, in a 1600 year buiding really nice shower and toilet
Sure we will repeat, plenty of good restaurants around and the biggest train station at the corner : chatelet les halles.
The people who gave us the keys were really friendly and advise us with good info about all the comodities around.

Exceptional apartment located in the heart of Paris!!
Nikita  (Australie)  - 28 novembre 2014

The apartment was in a great location in the centre of Paris, within walking distance from all major sites. Alexis was such a great host, meeting us upon arrival, helping us settle in and giving us tips on things to do in the area. The apartment is small but designed in a way where the use of space makes it feel bigger than it is (glass roof and high ceilings). It was just the two of us staying but there was room for one extra as there is a loft. Would definitely stay here again, thank you for such an enjoyable stay in Paris!

Great location for walking, museums, restaurants- very central for Metro/RER. Small but very comfortable for two women- climb to sleeping loft was easy and both beds very comfortable. Excellent shower and Japanese toilet. Linens top quality- towel warmer a nice bonus. Laundry easily accessible. Felt comfortable walking the area even at night. Did not cook as too many restaurant choices in the area. Kitchen small but worked well for breakfast and snacks. Wonderful gourmet take away choices and supermarket for basics close by. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to friends.

Brillant use of small space in a very central location

I spent eight days in this apartment. Two days were alone and six with a very mature 19 y/o. I am 71 and in the last two years have not loved climbing four flights of stars that have been required in most locations in the 1st. This was my 23rd vist to Paris and I did not need the two bedroom I usually rent.. I was intrigued by the pictures which accurately show everything. The loft fit my guest comfortably. The shower is a dream and so large by Parisean standards. We had no problems with privacy and If one was awake the dark curtain screened the light so the other could be in the living room. We both loved looking out the green house ceiling in the lining room at the end of a long day and experiencing the rain and sunsets from a different perspective. Drinks and snacks on the tiny 'terrace' were an added bonus and one could check the weather easily by stepping outside.

Ii usually Sleep poorly on European mattresses but this memory foam mattress was perfect! The closest Pattissiere won the award for artisanal baguette in 2014 and I wish I had discovered him before the 4th day instead of walking one block to an old favorite.

Salmia ia efficient, extremely helpful and I was checked in and connected to the wi-if in a few minutes. This Was a last minute trip and I was able to do everything required in a few days. My advice is to reserve early because when the word gets out this place will be booked solid. It is perfect for a week or two in Paris for one or two people. For a month trip, I would rent something larger. I'm looking forward to another stay at this location

Awesome location! Great facilities, perfect for two”

This apartment was perfect for our stay. The apartment is small, but comfortably fits two people (and can sleep up to three). The facilities are brand new, and the interior design is innovative and stylish. Great price for a great location! I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place!

I was at first very amazed by the central location of this apartment. It is so close to both the Louvre, and the Ile de la cite that I almost thought it couldn't be true. With an amazing market, charcuterie, wine shop, eateries and bakery all within walking distance, it was no problem to keep food costs down, and enjoy the feel of LIVING in Paris!

The apartment itself is not a huge place, but is set up in such a charming and space-efficient way, that you really don't notice the size. Everything in the place is brand new and state of the art, from the rain shower that indicates temp with led lights, to the air conditioner, to the smart tv, and the Japanese toilet. I also really liked the loft, perfect for a third person or child, and the glass living room ceiling, letting in tons of natural light. The free wifi and laundry are also wonderful for people who travel as much as I do.

The staff are unbelievably helpful, and the owner of the unit takes a vested personal interest in the renters comfort and happiness. He was even kind enough to arrange a special key drop to accommodate my early departure, and took my suggestions into immediate account.

I am extremely impressed, and I would not only rent from this group again, I'd rent the same place. If you want to go to Paris, but want more freedom than a hotel without sacrificing comfort or ease, this is the place.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It was a pleasure welcoming you as our first ever renters in this property. It is absolutely true that this neighbourhood is amazing for its incredible variety of local shops. I have the agency on rue du Pont Neuf, 100 meters far from the apartment and I am living less than 200 meters, so, I know well the area. The apartment is indeed not very big but can comfortably accommodate a couple, a couple plus a child or one single person! As we have been renting this property for less than 2 months now, the apartment is brand new and so are all the electric appliances it includes. As the owner of this property, I supervised myself all the work stages to make this one bedroom become a real luxury suite offering all the convenience of an apartment with a full kitchen and bath as well as a living room and a separate bedroom . This makes me get involved personally and daily in offering my tenants the best comfort as well as the best service We are pleased we could offer you a service of quality and will be extremely happy to have you stay with us next time Damien Marcel
