Comfortable apartment close to the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Seine
Ryan M.  (United States)  - August 21, 2016

This was a cute 2 bedroom apartment that is pretty big for Parisian standards. The location was great for its proximity to the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Seine, the Pompidou, metro stations, etc. There's an awesome bakery downstairs and lots of dining (La Factory Burger in particular!) and beaucoup shopping options nearby. Wifi was great... TV was pretty good. It's on the top (5th) floor of a bldg with no elevator, which was quaint and charming the first couple times but kind of a drag after a day of exploring Paris... especially with a couple tired kids. The bathroom was relatively big with a big bathtub (a rare Paris find!) though the kitchen could definitely be better appointed. It's located in Les Halles, which can get a little sketchy at night and there's a major construction project going on outside the window. Once they get it completed, I'm sure it'll be fab, but it's pretty loud sometimes, even with the double pane glass window and most especially when it's hot enough outside you need to sleep with the windows open. All in all, it was a very good stay though!

Great base for exploring Paris
Damien W.  (Australia)  - August 14, 2016

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is in a fantastic location, close to the Les Halles railway station and several metro stations that will let you get to just about anywhere in Paris. You are also a short walk from the Louvre and Notre Dame. We enjoyed sitting on the little balcony and taking in the view of Paris. The stairs are a little bit of a challenge after a long day of site seeing, but it is worth the climb - plus it is good training for the Notre Dame Tower and the Arc de Triomphe climbs.

The construction work associated with the redevelopment of Les Halles could barely be heard with the windows closed.

The kitchen is well equipped and there is no shortage of restaurants nearby if you prefer to eat out. The patisserie next door is well worth a visit.

We found all of the GlamaParis staff we dealt with very helpful and easy to deal with.

Great Location
MMT725  (Australia)  - October 8, 2015

Stayed here for a week and had a very good stay. The apartment was a bit smaller than we imagined as the photographs made it look more spacious than it truly was. However, the apartment was clean, warm and comfortable for the entire stay. Its location was great being only 10-15 minutes by walk from many of Paris' many tourists sites, and the area is abound by many restaurants and cafes, as well as small grocery stores. The train station is only a few minutes walk away and Les Halles station can take you directly to and from the CDG airport. There is currently some major construction taking place directly in front of the apartment which was a shame as the few would have been wonderful. It is a bit noisy during the day but it doesn't really hinder your stay. The kitchen allowed one to self cater and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The shower itself could be challenging to get into for those who have mobility issues ( or are short ) as it is a step in bath/shower arrangement that has quite a high step. The staff at Glamaparis were great to deal with and answered all my questions prior to our arrival as well as during our stay. They are very professional in the manner in which they rent the apartments and require you to sign a inventory list on your arrival. My only suggestion is that you go through this with them on your arrival as we found later on checking that several items were missing and had to request the representative to come back and check for herself asap so that there was no issues on our departure. She happily did so and noted all the items missing and updated her files. We were also allowed a late check out as there was no one scheduled to arrive on the day we left and their office, which was only around the corner and up the street, allowed us to leave our luggage there till we left for the airport later that day. Overall, we had a great stay here despite the 100 steps we had to negotiate everyday!

Absolutely perfect
Michelle Chen  (United States)  - July 3, 2015

We loved everything about this property and renting it. I visited Paris with my sister-in-law and our two teenage daughters. The location of the apartment is ideal, 5 minutes walking distance to three different metro stations, and two nearby grocery stores with many cafes and plenty of shopping. There is construction on les Halles, but with the double pane windows on the front windows, we barely heard a thing. It was also extremely warm the week we were there, but they provided us with two large fans, and the black out drapes in the bedroom really kept the apartment cool. We opened the windows at night and were really quite comfortable.

The apartment is exactly as pictured. And it was spotless. We loved the double security doors to get into the building. We cooked many meals at night and found everything we needed in the well appointed kitchen. The washing machine was a plus.

We arranged our taxi from the airport through them as well, and it was seamless. Tanguy was waiting for us when we arrived and oriented us to the apartment and appliances, etc.

The stairs. Yes, you have to walk up four flights of stairs as there is no lift, but if you're going to do the 284 at Sacre Coeur, 300 at Arc de Triomphe or 340 at Eiffel, you can do these. No big deal.

Samia, Paul and Tanguy were quick to reply to my emails and conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism. I can't say enough good things about this experience. When we visit Paris again, we will be sure to work with them again! Thank you!

Great location, charming apartment
2531kit  (India)  - May 19, 2015

This is in the most fantastic of locations. Right near the louvre, pompidou, le Marais, a lot is at walking distance. The apartment itself is great. Two bedrooms, a good well equipped kitchen and a small but beautiful balcony. There is some construction going on in front of the apartment but that didn't really hinder our experience. The place is surrounded by restaurants and cafés. And we met Paul, a representative from glam Paris who was very helpful and very welcoming. When we thought we had an issue with the plumbing, their help came immediately. The place is very well equipped. And we really loved the small decor details in the house that just added to our Parisian experience.

Spacious Apartment in the Heart of Paris
Michael Roberson  (United States)  - April 12, 2015

I stayed in this Paris for one week, and every day I was so happy that I booked this place. It was my wife and my three boys (11), (9), (2), and I. We had ample room for my family to stay without feeling like we were on top of each other. The Apartment was very clean, had sound proof windows, and was in a quiet building in a quiet neighborhood. This apartment is minutes from the Louvre museum, and Notre Dame. It is in the heart of the shopping district, located need several restaurants, and minutes from the main train hub. This apartment is in a prime location, and is a great find. I highly recommend this place to any, and everyone. Of course nothing is without its downside, but fortunately this place only has one. The amount of stairs to get to the apartment can be a pain when you return from a long day of sightseeing, but it's nothing a good bottle of French wine can't help you get over.

Fabulous Find in Paris

We absolutely loved this apartment! It was located within walking distance of the Chatelet Les Halles RER station and metro station. Conveniently located near wonderful restaurants and shops. The apartment itself was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely stay here again for our future trips to Paris!

Beautiful Apartment Centrally located
The golden sun  (United States)  - January 11, 2015

My mother, sister, and I stayed in this amazing 2 bedroom apartment for a week over New Years. The apartment was just as pictured, with tons of room for 3 people, and beautifully decorated with lots of natural light in the front rooms. The kitchen was a decent size had everything we needed to cook some meals at home. We all loved the big soaker tub. Samia met us at the apartment upon arrival and showed us everything we needed to know, we had a question later on and she was quick to respond to our email. The apartment is centrally located, it takes less then 5 minutes to walk to the Seine and only 15 minutes to walk to the Louvre. There are a couple grocery stores only 1-2 blocks away and the lots of shopping along the Rue Rivoli and Marais areas. Each night we enjoyed relaxing with a glass of French wine :) As previously mentioned it is 4 storeys up so there is a bit of climb up but it wasn't a problem since we knew to expect it. Currently there is construction in the square out front but we were lucky that they didn't work the majority of the holidays. All in all we had a great stay and loved the apartment, it was so much more comfortable and convenient then a hotel.

Here is our reply:

Hello ! Thank you so much for this review. I am glad you could enjoy a wonderful stay thanks to the apartment and the neighbourhood. It is true that the beauty of this apartment is its old-fashioned parisian style but most importantly its proximity to the most well-known shopping area, but also bars, cafes & bakeries all around. We will be extremely happy to have you stay with us next time you plan a trip to Paris. All the GLAMAPARIS team wishes you all the best for this New Year 2015!

Great Location
plusvini  (Canada)  - September 17, 2014

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The locations was excellent, directly across from a metro hub. Two good sized bedrooms and a Juliette balcony just large enough for two to share a glass of wine. Good restaurants around the corner. There was construction across the street at the time and it was loud. So check that it is done. Also, there are exactly 100 stairs from the street to the apartment and no elevator - so consider your luggage. GlamaParis met us at the apartment and showed us around. They were very helpful and the business side of the rental was easy.

Convinient location for visiting Paris
Brian S  (United States)  - July 1, 2014

This appartment is in a convinient location for visiting Paris. Neighbourhood had everything you needed to stay supplied with a small and friendly grocery store down the street, pubs, restaurants, patisserie's nearby for those slow mornings or evenings when you just want to sit on a nearby patio or the appartment patio overlooking the street. Metro station is equally close for heading out doing tourist stuff even though you can walk to some of the major attractions within a few minutes. Construction on the Halles was not disruptive or noisy. Appt was well equiped. Couldn't figure out the TV but we were in Paris afterall and not much need for TV time. Wifi was reliable

Only down side, no elevator and climbing those 4 stories of stairs after a day out was not always something to look forward to but once inside and sitting on balcony sipping some wine, that was only a little inconvinience.
